Remove Image Background

Select products for Studio processing

Go to the Products page. Select one or more products using the checkboxes, then click "Studio" in the selection toolbar. You can also open a single product's detail panel and click "Edit in Studio".

Understand the AI classifications

The Studio analyzes each image and assigns one of four classifications:

• can_detourage -- The product can be cleanly separated from its background. The AI will remove the background entirely.
• complex_detourage -- The background is too complex for clean removal. The AI will reframe the image instead of removing the background.
• same_background -- The image already has a clean, uniform background. No processing needed.
• lifestyle -- The image is a lifestyle or context shot. The Studio will skip it to preserve the original composition.

Choose your background preset

Before processing, select your preferred background style from the presets:

• Background color: white, light gray, beige, or black.
• Aspect ratio: 1:1 (square), 3:4 (portrait), or 4:3 (landscape).

These settings apply to all images in the current batch.

Review the results

After processing completes, a review dialog appears showing a before/after comparison for each image. Use the checkbox next to each image to include or exclude it from the final output.

If an image did not process well -- for example, part of the product was removed along with the background -- uncheck it to keep the original.

Apply the modifications

Click "Apply N modifications" (where N is the number of checked images) to save the processed versions back to your product cards. The original images are replaced.
